Phoenix Wright Flats

Here's a game that has a huge fandom: Ace Attorney.  I think we've all heard "Objection!" at least once or twice at this point.  Naturally, a commission came up with this series in mind.

These shoes were straight up paint going directly on shoe.  And painting straight on the shoe has some difficulties involved.  Once you put the paint down, you can't turn back.  It takes several coats to make the paint opaque and it's really hard to fill up the little spots.  The benefits are worthwhile, though: increased flexibility means increased lifetime on the shoe.

I hope the person wearing these has a good time sporting these flats around.  The toes are sure to catch someone's attention...

Maybe you could scream "Objection!" while stomping your foot on the ground.

Fresh Start: Paying Tribute

Well, hi there!  Welcome to Tribute Shoes, the place where I'll be displaying my video game / anime custom shoes.  I'm Di, by the way.  Nice to meet you!

So let's start with my motivation on what I do.  I love video games.  I love anime.  What a nerd I am, huh?  Sadly, I don't think these two forms of entertainment don't get enough justice out there.  If you asked a group of normal people what Gurren Lagaan was, they probably wouldn't get you.  You say Okami and you get strange looks.  Where's the recognition at?

That's where I come in.  Raise awareness of video games and anime.  Let people know what you're a fan of by wearing it.  And pay tribute to these great works that their creators have poured so much of their heart and soul into.

I'm a bit new to blogging, so these first few weeks are most likely going to be very awkward and clunky.  Not to fear though, I'll get the hang of it soon!  Nothing beats awkwardness like experience, right?

So welcome again, and I hope you enjoy what I have to offer in Tribute Shoes!
